I have a 2001 Suzuki Bandit 1200s with over 116k miles. Original clutch, have never had any engine work. Whenever I've checked the valves there have been only 2 or 3 that were .001 off. I change the oil every 2k miles and use MC oil. I ride year round in Northern Va.
High mileage is almost always considered anything over 100,000 miles for a 2003 model.
around 8000 clicks
30000 miles
Average mileage per year is 10-14,000 on a vehicle, so more than this would be high mileage.
depends on the bike about 60000km
75000+
It's almost impossible to set a specific number for high mileage on any bike. It all depends on how it was ridden during the break in period, and how it was ridden during the rest of the mileage on it. a 20,000 mile bike might run worse then a 80,000 mileage one.
i own a 2002 f150 and it has 196,000 miles and still runs great. Over 150,000 miles is considered high mileage on any vehicle. That does not necessarily mean there is something wrong with it.
Over 200,000 miles
30k miles
if its under 200,000 that is good, but if its anywhere over 250,000 then its high
175,000 miles I agree w/ the above answer.... I am no mechanic but I read along my way somewhere that high mileage for an 02 Santa Fe was 184,000.......
