it could be as simple as Asthma, or as complacated as copd, only if you smoke, also the lungs are a sensitive tissue and Allergies to animals, indoor or outdoor could also be to blame--please go to the doctor and get a standard scrach test its not expensive and doesn't hurt to much feels like a fingernail clippers rubbing on your arm, also employment if you work in welding or plastics their carsenegic which is awful for the lungs look at the msds about possible hazards and chemicals in the work place and see if anything harsh you work with could be causing these symptoms-find the source and dont give up searcing for answers.
