Crows are cosmopolitan and can be found on almost every continent now days except in polar regions.

They are extremely adaptable and have become invasive in many parts of the world (by competing with local birds).

They live in nests and scavenge for food.

crows build nests in places where they feel safe from possible predators, e.g up in a high tree or in a hedge. :)

The term 'crow's nest' is also used when referring to the fixed lookout point at the top of the mast of a sailing vessel.

Crows can live anywhere where they can find food or shelter. For instance, if there was a hurricane, or a tornado, you wouldn't find a crow living there. They live in great enviroments.
