Its a roundabout and a big one at that. Many just call it Denton roundabout or Denton Island but the council had a great idea to rename it Denton Rock. They have put a large advertising tower on the roundabout that was meant to have flashing adverts however due to driver safety this has been cut back (although the tower still remains).
