A dynamic system is a system that is constantly changing, like the human body system. A static system is a system in where there is no change, like the solar system.

-------

Dynamic systems tend to become static or attain a state of equilibrium. e.g.

if a car is assumed to be a dynamic system, then it requires fuel to continue moving forward or else it would come to a stop and become static.

Simply static systems are memory less systems e.g a circuit of battery and resister. Static systems' output only depends on the present value of input. Whereas dynamic systems have memory capability e.g RLC circuit in which capacitor may have some initial value or flip-flops. Dynamic Systems' output depends upon on future and past values.

In most cases, dynamic means changing or temporary and static means permanent. For example, a dynamic ip address is assigned to your computer and changes each time you logon to your network. A static ip is manually configured on your computer and won't change until it is manually changed or set to dynamic.

a static system is that which is not in physical motion....e.g dead load or bridges

a dynamic system is that which involve motion with respect to time.failure of any system caused by dynamic load.....e.g moving car or any system

There are a few differences between static and dynamic pages such as the following:

Static:

  • Gets cached on your computer until the outputted file is changed in some way, this saves bandwidth on your websites
  • Less processing power for the server, since a new page doesn't have to be generated every page load
  • The page does not change unless you edit the file

Dynamic:

  • Gets cached on your computer, but is overwritten every page load due to the dynamic content changing the page
  • Use more processing power due to creating a new page every page load
  • The page changes due to a programming language changing the content, this is also affected if your are using a database and it needs to show new data on the page

A dynamic website usually uses a database, an example of a dynamic page would be a forum, when you post new forum posts the page will have new content to display.

Generally dynamic means that is not constant or that is moving or changing. Static means something that is still or fixed. For example Mac address is dynamic while IP address is static .

One difference between dynamic torque and static torque is the level of difficulty to measure. Static torque is each to measure, while dynamic torque is not. This is because it requires a transfer of an electric or magnetic effect.
