i tastes sour. after you cut it open there are a bunch of seeds inside coverd in green slimey stuff. suck on the slimey stuff and the seed. one you are done you can spit it out or swallow it (non toxic)

But most don't like to eat the seeds, there are also a lot of ways to cook with a Horned Melon.
