Firenze Trattoria is in my view the best Italian restaurant in San Diego. I like the romantic type ambiance and their great service but of course their great food is what sets this great Italian restaurant apart. I would recommend the "Salmon Carpaccio" if you like smoked Salmon. I like eggplant and zucchini, for me the "Antipasto Misto" is a match made in heaven because it is grilled eggplant stuffed with zucchini and mushrooms along with roasted bell peppers and lots of quality mozzarella cheese. Anyway I am getting hungry all over again so I better stop writing. I hope this helps you find a great dining experience whenever you come to "Sun Diego". Best wishes.
