Actually, Talo, IT is InformationTechnology. AND an IT company is one that makes softwares, hardwares etc for computers, machines et al.
Innovative Technology, on the other hand is path breaking work. Stuff that is a new thought, a new idea, and that is implemented to help a lot of people. Innovation can be technological, social, business, governmental, anything.
Innovative technology would be something like PDF when they first started it. Or the mobile revolution in India, which Bharti enterprises started.
Innovation in social sectors can be any kind of social ventures that have helped people. There is this project that brought 24 hour electricity and water to lots of villages in Gujarat. That can also ccount for innovation.
I also saw a case study online of a company called TATA and TERI that created a green eco-system on a land scattered with soda ash and rendered useless.
I actually know of all of these innovations because of these casestudies that were found on line
Hope this helps!
On the other foot any technology that solves an age old problem in a modern, socially useful way, can be called an innovative technology
innovation is a process of coming up with new ideas or new products
Technological innovation means to develop a better solution for a current problem or situation. This solution will come through effective new products.

Understanding customer needs will help you define new market opportunities and drive innovation and revenue growth in every aspect of your organization.
It depends on how you define successful. The government is certainly functional; theocracy has consistently shown that it works in the sense that the government retains power and does not collapse. It retains power by repressing and jailing its rivals. If you define successful as: improving the standard of living, appealing to the majority of Iranians, securing human rights, bringing technological development to the country, etc., the current theocracy is a failure.
Different tech levels define country trading relationships because the higher the level, the better the technology. With higher levels of technology, economies gain financial independence and become leaders. Everyone wants to be a leader for some reason or another. This correlates with a good trade relationship.
When asked to define his leadership style, Barton stated that his goal as a leader was to encourage innovation among his employees and to foster the natural creativity of everyone so as to achieve solutions in the best way possible.
Every innovation is regarded as a blessing of science now-a-days but how i would try to define is that a disciplined way of doing something or figurin something out , or to get knowledge of something !! "scientific method helps science" i say !!

It's debatable and depends on how you want to define invention and innovation. The first versions of pencils were just graphite sticks wrapped in something like string or sheepskin to facilitate stability while they were used (mostly for art purposes). The version we think of - two wooden halves glued together around a graphite core - was invented around 1560 so that innovation might be considered the invention of what we now know as the pencil. Obviously there have been many innovations and inventions related to pencils since then including the mechanical pencil and using plastic to encase the "lead" instead of wood.
