What is insensible heat loss?

heat gain is when an object get hotter. heat loss is when an object gets colder.

You shiver, get goosebumps, and most of the blood leaves the extremities to keep the major organs oxygenated and working properly.

For what? It requires a heat gain for the water, but a heat loss for whatever the water is in contact with.
