Jimmy Carter will probably be remembered fondly by history for his life after leaving office. He has been tremendously involved in many humanitarian causes - and with his own sweat, not just money and talk. He has also headed some very successful diplomatic ventures for the United States government. His presidency was forgettable. A one-term president, he was not so much a "bad" president as he was simply an inept one.
