L'ile de la Cite is an island tha is the center of Paris. It contains the Notre-Dame, as well as several other historical buildings. There are about 7 bridges connecting to it from the land. That's really all I know.

L'ile de la Cité means "the City island" in French. This is the somewhat small island in the heart of Paris which was the first settlement site, and on which you can find today Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Sainte-Chapelle.
