Man made wood is when you put the left overs of other wood together, such as saw dust and forms a new piece of wood when you have enough Man made wood is often called particle board and is made from cardboard being tightly packed. OS boards are also considered by some to be man made since it is scraps of wood formed together.

If you are referring to chip board and possibly plywood, they are made from many different original woods. -Chipboard, a very important component in 'everyday' furniture and kitchen cabinets is almost always made from sawdust mixed with glue and compressed to make board. -Plywoods are made from slices of wood glued together at opposing angles to make a very strong, flat board.
