There are three types of bones within the arm. The large bone is the humerus and is in the upper part of the arm. The radius is part of the forearm and are smaller bones. The ulna is another part of a bone in the forearm.

The top arm bone ( the one connected to your shoulder) is called the humerus. There are 2 parallel bones in the lower part of the arm ( the part connected from the end of the humerus to the wrist). The one that connects to the thumb is called the radius and the other one is called the ulna
