What you intend to use it for should decide what is most important to you when buying a new TV. Generally things such as a good resolution e.g. 1080p will be advisable for most people. If you plan to use it for gaming, watching DVD's/cable TV ect. then you will want to count up how many different things you want to connect to it and make sure you buy a TV with enough scart/HDMI sockets for all of them. A HDMI socket is only required if: you want the appliance you are using to be in HD, it has the functionality to be in HD and you have a HDMI cable to connect them with (you can buy them relatively cheap). Apart from personal preference the size of the screen is not too important. The larger the screen the further away from it you will have to be and it must be able to fit wherever you intend to put it. 32" is a common choice of screen size. Contrast is less important as it is less noticeable to most people, although higher is obviously better and it should be a ratio of at least several thousand to 1 e.g. 3000:1 (you can get up to 100,000's:1 if you really want). An LED TV's picture is usually sharper than a LCD TV but it is not a must have and purely depends on budget. Most TV's will have other little things like USB slots or WIFI but these are just wants and not needs. It is also a good idea to see a TV in a shop on display before buying so you know roughly what you are getting and to judge the sound quality and also to buy a better known brand and from a trusted distributor in case you have any problems. A warranty is also a good idea. A final thing to bear in mind is that if you have the best resolution in the world and rubbish contrast or vice versa it's not really going to live up to it's full potential so a good all round TV is also a good idea.
the benefit of purchasing a LED screen tv is that you get a better, brighter ,and more vivid colors on your tv for a more realistic feeling

If you are interested in purchasing a Pioneer LCD television, the price will vary depending on the size and features of the particular TV. Unfortunately I was not able to find any pricing for Pioneer LCD televisions, it seems that they are more involved in the plasma screens rather than LCD. Sorry I could not be of more help.

For most people one of the biggest home purchases to make would be a new LCD television. Since it is a big choice, all people would benefit by purchasing a Samsung LCD television. While Samsung has a reputation for developing the best LCD televisions, they tend to be a bit more expensive. While they can be more expensive, you can save a considerable amount of money on Samsung LCD televisions by purchasing a slightly older model. These models are normally a couple of years old, but have almost all of the same technological features and the TV can be purchased for just a fraction of the price of a new one.
