Non-biodegradable waste will NOT break down (or won't for many many years). Examples are plastics, metal and glass. Dangerous chemicals and toxins are also non-biodegradable, as are plastic grocery bags, Styrofoam (polystyrene), and other similar materials.

biodegradable waste are those which can be easily degraded or divided into its simplest form with the help of microbes that occur naturally in the environment. non-biodegradable waste cannot be degraded by these microbes and they are known as recalcitrants. and these substance later leads to several ecological problems..... hence, we must take care to recycle these materials.

1 paper

2 cardboard

3 peels of fruits(and vegetables)

4 kitchen food scraps

these are only some of them but there are many more.
