well, many say banana's are a high source of potassium! (not sure how its spelt...im under 13 who should!) i think thats why banana's are encouraged to be eaten when young eg:0-4, and when elderly. banana's are a great baby food, being able to be mushed...same reason with the elderly, if teeth..aren't an option.Banana's are actually ripe when skin is black, not yellow how we eat them, this is why i encourage you, to save black-skinned banana's, not for the scraps/rubbish, but for baking (espically banana cake!). hope this helps.
