Ojibwa wore moccasins in the summer. Moccasins are a type of shoes they wore. They also wore animal hides in winter and breech cloth in summer. Not many of them wore feather headresses but some did. The Ojibwa wore clothes made from animal skin like woman wore animal skin dresses. Hope this helps.
At first, Ojibwe women wore a strap-and-sleeve dress of soft-tanned deer hide; this was made of two complete skins joined at the shoulders, with separate sleeves that tied on at the back and across the chest.
An underskirt in tube form was woven from nettle fibres (nettle is related to hemp and its fibres make very strong "cloth"). Knee-length buckskin leggings and soft-soled moccasins completed the outfit.
Ojibwe moccasins were originelly made with a puckered seam running up the front, later a vamp was added with the skin puckered around this vamp. Cuffs were added and these could be worn up and fastened with leather strips, or folded down. Rabbit or muskrat fur could be stuffed inside for warmth in winter.
Women wore their hair loose or in two braids - headbands were not part of traditional Ojibwe dress until very recent times.
When Hudson's Bay blankets were available these were popular items of trade. Women also obtained dresses of trade cloth as well as shawls.
