What is ono?In: Car Buying |
[Edit] |
Answer
It's Yoko's last name.
Sorry, joking.. ONO on an advert is an abbreviation for 'Or Near Offer'. You may also see OVNO which means 'Or Very Near Offer'.
There are so many different ways we traders abbreviate items on a car, but the most important one to look for is 'FSH' which means Full Service History. Sometimes, the manufacturer's initials will be added, so if the car is a Ford for instance, it may say 'FFSH', which means Full Ford Service History.
Don't be tempted to buy a car with no service history, unless it's really cheap or you're confident that it's going to be ok. Or, you're going to keep the car until you scrap it at the end of it's life.
I hope this helps!
