person to person networking is also called "peer to peer" or for short P2P.
P2P is basically what Napster was, but it is now legal (i think) also allows for programs and other files to be distributed. so take for example limewire. All i have to do is download limewire, search for Flash MX for example and presto! a whole bunch of files come up! Morpheus, LimeWire, and Bearshare are the most reliable and virus free. Shareaza is DANGEROUS it actually holds alot more viruses than the others i just mentioned. (i recommend downloading norton antivirus first) so you can get alot of free software using P2P.
