Human nature versus society is like the heart versus the brain.

The heart tends to do what it feels it should on impulse; human nature is acted upon no thought towards it, just happens the way it does, like a relflex.

The brain will analyze the situation, generally considering all sides and aspects, and consequences; as does society, often judging and generating opinions and ideas to make any decisions.
