There are 3 parts of the bowel that comprise the small intestine: the duodenum, the jejunum, & the ileum occurring in that order. The illeum contains large amounts of Mucosa associated Lymph tissue (MALT) in the form of Peyer's patches, whereas the jejunum has very few MALT.
The ilium is the upper part of the bony pelvis which forms the receptacle for the head of the femur at the hip joint. The word "ilium" is the Medieval Latin term for the hip bone. The ileum is the lowest part of the small intestine, located beyond the duodenum and jejunum, just before the large intestine (the colon).
The duodenum has a bunch of tubes leading to it from the liver and pancreas. They carry digestive juices and enzymes. The duodenum continues to digest food not digested in the stomach. The jejunum has villi that absorb digested food and take it to the liver through veins. They serve different purposes.
jejunoilial
In adults the jejunum is found in the small intestine and lies between the duodenum and the ileum. The lining of the jejunum absorbs small food particles which have previously been digested in the duodenum.

the jejunum is the middle portion of the small intestine
About 100 cm or 3 feet.
They are the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum.
The duodenum, jejunum, and ileum.Duodenum, Jejunum, and Ileum.
The jejunum is 2m long while the ileum is 3m long. The jejunum is thicker and more vasculaure than the ileum. There tends to be more plicae circulares in the jejunum region. As for the ileum, the peyer's patches are more common in this region.
Duodenum, Jejunum, Ileum
The length of Rat ileum is approximately 10-12 cm between jejunum and ileo-caecal junction
The ileum lays between the jejunum and cecum. The ileum is fairly similar in operation to the jejunum (ie; loaded with mucous membranes and villi to absorb nutrients from food).
In adults the jejunum is found in the small intestine and lies between the duodenum and the ileum. The lining of the jejunum absorbs small food particles which have previously been digested in the duodenum.
the jejunum, followed by the ileum
jejunum... which is located between the duodenun and the ileum of the small intestine. pg.509 saladin Anatomy & Physiology
It is small intestine made of three parts duodenum, jejunum and ileum. And mostly jejunum and ileum are responsible for absorbing nutrients .
the small intestine is subdivided into three parts : duodenum, jejunum and ileum some books mix the jejunum and the ileum togother
Cecum. The duodenum, jejunum, and ileum are the three parts of the small intestine while the cecum is apart of the large intestine.
