Poison Ivy is a type of plant that when you touch it , that place of your body will be itchy. You can stop it by buying Calamine ( Ferric Oxide.) Lotion. You can buy the lotion at local stores.
you put calamine lotion on it!
By poison ivy lotion I take it you mean a calamine lotion like caladryl. It contains carbolic acid, zinc oxide (ZnO) , and ferric oxide (Fe2O3), none of which is a pure element.
You can dry it out. Rubbing alcohol, white vinager or calamine lotion are very good for poison ivy. The alchol and vinager stings but it feels alot better.
