QCPC or Quality Clinic Process Charting is a method to track and report on a processes quality of output. Each instance of an out of process situation are called turnbacks. These turnbacks are analyzed to the root cause of the process variation and the root cause is corrected thus eliminating the turn back from future process runs. QCPC has it's initial basis in the manufacturing environment and has spread across most business cells within companies employing this analysis technique. The term Clinic is used instead of the term Control due to the theory of problem solving that treats all defects as symptoms of an underlying problem much similar to medical issues.
