What is spam?

Answer

Spam is unsolicited bulk e-mail; i.e. online junk mail. Usually junk e-mail doesn't contain the recipient's address on the "To" line. Instead, the addressee is a made-up name, such as "friend.com." Or the address on the "To" line is identical to the one on the "From' line.

It is also a form of meat in a can. The word Spam came from a company called Hormel, who makes a form of meat preserved in a can, popular with being able to be taken on trips and such when spam is more convenient than actual meat. But the computer related term "spam" comes from 2 American lawyers Canter and Siegel, who invented the term while earning money by obtaining Greencards for people. IN ADDITION TO ALL OF THIS, SPAM IS A PERSON.
