we found a yellow sac spider in our grapes in Calgary Alberta Canada and while trying to identify him kept him in a jar and he loved the flys we gave him
Sounds like a cat-face spider or Araneus gemmoides. Try looking that up to find pitures of them and see how it compares to the one you found.
