Sportswear is basically casual wear. It's something an active person can wear and be comfortable in. Not like a party outfit or a costume, just a regular everyday outfit. The sportswear competition is were each girl models her sportswear outfit in front of the judges. Usually the sportswear competition is optional, but soometimes it is a required thing and most of the time when it is requireed, the pageant gives you a special t shirt to wear or something like that.
