Depends on the material, Wood glue is better for Wood, But Super Glue is better!
ANS 2 - Each product has it's own 'best' glue. -No single glue is best for everything.
It depends on the material that you try to glue together.
You got to keep in mind that there's a lot of different glues and they have their own properties. So everytime you try to fix two materials together you need to make sure you use the right adhesive product.
If you ask whats better between superglue and woodglue, I guess that you're trying to glue together wood. Then I have to answer to use wood glue.
Why? Its because of the properties of the glues. Explaining this to make it easy to understand.
Super glue is a cyanoacrylate wich is a very rigid product that is very hard and not flexible.
Wood Glue is a PVA (also a plastic based glue) but more flexible.
The durability of crazy glue is not good when is submitted to vibrations and torsion. Wich is why the wood will fall off after 2 years. Simply because wood is a material that changes through humidity.
So basictly ''Super Glue'' is very good for ceramic, plastic, and other materials that wont change.
You can also use a polyurethatne based glue if you need to cure faster, or to glue on a wood surface that has allready been finished with a lacque. Because polyurethane is more flexible than cyanoacrylate too.
regular glue is good for paper and wood glue is good for wood. if your using it for something more related to wood then use that one. if your using it for something more related to regular the use that.
Epoxy is a 2 part glue in which 1 part is adhesive and the other is it's hardener. It's necessary to mix the 2 parts equally in order to get a good result. epoxy, when well mixed under ideal conditions can be extremely strong and versatile adhesive. -Super glue is a single part cyanoacrylate, that starts hardening as soon as it gets onto a smooth hard surface. This glue is ONLY useful if on hard surfaces that are totally impermeable (ie NOT like woods, clays etc where it can soak in)
White glue (polyvinyl acetate) is a strong wood glue, properly used. Yellow glue (aliphatic adhesive), is considered by most woodworkers to be somewhat stronger, others say they are equally strong when properly applied and clamped. Except for some special formulations of aliphatic, however, neither is waterproof.
Polyurethane glues are also very strong. Gorilla Glue, PL Premium, Titebond Polyurethane and DAP Polyurethane are all examples of these glues. They all have different qualities from eachother but generally tend to be stronger than traditional wood glues.
Super Glue is made from a chemical called 'cyanoacrylate' and is mainly used in joining smooth, hard surfaces.
Wood glue is usually a PVA (polyvinyl acetate ) which soaks into porous materials, wood, leather, card, etc, and dries out joining the material.
Depends on the make, usually yes, but read the instructions.

ANS 2 - Super glue will NOT be as effective as Yellow glue on wood.
Super glue is a name of just one type of glue.
A better choice would be an epoxy glue. Super glue is not perfect on wood, painted or not.
None of those are ideal . The best wood glue by far is Titebond lll and it's not too pricy.
yes ANS 2 - If you mean wood boards, that's a definite NO. PVA (white or yellow glue) will adhere to wood better.
Wood glue is better FOR GLUING WOOD than any other type of glue !
You could if the wood was 2 very smooth, flat, shiny surfaces. that's where super glue excels. If it's 2 rough pieces of wood there's no way super glue will make a solid joint.
very sticyANS 2 - Super glue does not adhere very well to wood. Try carpenter's yellow glue instead.
Hot glue will not work as good on pop sticks as wood glue, which will provide much better bonding.
Simple wood glue is Polyvinyl acetate which is basically white 'school ' glue. There are many better wood adhesives.
Because it is a totally different composition.
if it is a plastic model kit you can use super glue, but not wood glue.
These are quite different products, with different formulations and actions. In particular, 'super glue' - cyanoacrylate requires the absence of air for its action.
Elmers GlueANS 2 Carpenters yellow glue is vastly better than Elmer's glue on wood.
