From the Home Page of the Animal Abuse Prevention Agency's website: " Animal Abuse Prevention Agency, Inc. is a non-profit organization which takes a pro-active approach in preventing cruelty to animals. Our services cover educating pet owners on the dangers of giving their animals away by using "free to good home ads".

In addition, AAPA does pet adoptions, pet rescue, provides veterinarian services when needed, works for the enforcement of animal rights, provides temporary care for pets without a home, performs grooming, and supplies food for pet nutrition.

AAPA has an active spay/neuter program which has prevented hundreds of unwanted animals from being born. The program also educates pet owners on the health benefits to their animals of a spay/neuter program as well as the importance of stopping pet overpopulation."
