A battle that lasted 8 minutes. Although outnumbered the Texans killed 630 Mexicans and captured 700 more. The following day Texans captured Santa Anna himself. Very good answer, but the battle lasted 18 minutes.

That day at San Jacinto many of our greatest heroes of Texas died. If it weren't for these brave individuals we would probably still be in Mexico's comand. No offense to Mexico but I like Texas the way it is.
