Psa 51:10-12 KJV Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. [v. 11] Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. [v. 12] Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thyfree spirit.
Rom 12:1-2 MKJV I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, pleasing to God, which is your reasonable service. [v. 2] And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
2Co 4:16 NET Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day.
Gal 6:1 Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual onesrestore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
Eph 4:20-24 MKJV But you have not so learned Christ, [v. 21] if indeed you have heard Him and were taught by Him, as thetruth is in Jesus. [v. 22] For you ought to put off the old man (according to your way of living before) who is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, [v. 23] and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. [v. 24] And you should put on the new man, who according to God was created in righteousness and true holiness.
Tit 3:4-7 MKJV But when the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared, [v. 5] not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, [v. 6] whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, [v. 7] that being justified by His grace, we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
God is in the renovation business, but He is the Master Renovator. Whereas man uses the words 'renew' or 'restore' to mean making it just like it was originally, when God renovates/renews someone not only are they are better than the original, but the original is forgotten:-
Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
2Co 5:17 Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
Gal 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.
Eph 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Or, as the "Contemporary English Version" [CEV] translates this same verse of Colossians 3:10:-
Everybody should seek God's renewal, because it is not just remaking something as-new again, but is actually a transformation of the original into something superior:-
