the browband is used to keep the bridle from moving back, it keeps the head piece straight, if it is too small the head piece will be pulled against the ears and be uncomfortable for the horse, if it is too big the browband will stick out from the horses head, you should be able to fit one finger between the ears and the head piece and it should fit snugly around the forehead.

Just one finger because if you can fit your whole hand it wouldent be right trust me and if you cant fit anyting then it way too tight.

How do you put together a bridle?

Welll, first you take apart the bridle by undoing the various buckles and straps, then you take the browband in your right hand and slide the long end of the nose band through. then you take the other part with the buckles and thread that on top of the noseband part. then you buckle the bit holder things to the part you just threaded through the browband and attatch the reins. THE END

What crown piece do you use with a Dyon Figure 8 noseband?

I am going to asume by 'crown piece' you are talking about the bridle's headstall/browband. On this assumption the answer would be to match your leather in width, finish and color. But you usually will be trying to match your Figure 8 with the headstall/browband since the Figure 8 is usually an add-on to an existing bridle. Use your eye, if it looks good and makes a good match you got a winner.

How do you make mega bling bling browbands?

1. get your pvc or leather plain, flat browband and wrap satin ribbon around it. (darker colours are better because they dont get as dirty. alternativly you can sharktooth the browband) aprrox 15mm ribbon is suitable 2. grab your choice of bling chain and place it onto the browband. trim it or add extra parts where needed, remember not to go onto the loops at both ends. (this step depends on what type of bling chain you have im guessing you just have a plain 4 - 6 row bling....) 3. glue your bling chain down. (use tacky glue and NEVER use a hotglue gun because our browband will fall apart sooner than later) 4. get around 3 meters of 3mm ribbon in the colour of your choice and wind it through the gaps between each row (vertically). go all the way across make sure you keep and even tension through the whole thing. glue the end on the back for a nice clean finish.

On the bridle what is the piece that the ears go through?

There isn't actually a part which the ears go through unless you mean the fly mask. The head piece goes behind the ears and over the poll, and the browband goes across the front and underneath the forelock.
