In the view of Buddhism, the existence of God (Deva) is affirmed; however, God (Deva) is one of many creatures, but holds the highest power in a realm. God (Deva) rules the realm of higher level of creatures than human beings, and dwells in a higher quality world, called "Heaven".
Living beings in Heaven possess a life that could be hundred-thousands times longer than human beings, but still lingers around the state of being dead and being reborn into the same or different world. They experience aging as well as fate just as many other creatures in the Universe.
Buddhism affirmed the power of God due to his/her great "karma" earned in so many previous lives, but the power of God has its own limit and is not omnipotent.
Buddhism does not affirmed the creation of God which created other creatures, including human, and every material in the world. Every creatures, including God, is equal in the eyes of Buddhas.

- Asura --- The realm of anger, jealousy, and constant war; the Asura (Ashura) are demigods, semi-blessed beings; they are powerful, fierce and quarrelsome; like humans, they are partly good and partly evil.
- Human --- The human realm; beings who are both good and evil; enlightenment is within their grasp, yet most are blinded and consumed by their desires.
- Animal (Cad) --- The realm of animals and livestock, characterized by stupidity and servitude.
- Hungry Ghost --- The realm of hungry spirits; characterized by great craving and eternal starvation.
- Hell --- The lowest and worst realm, wracked by torture and characterized by aggression, where most sorrow imposed on living beings.

"Buddha" is not a personal name, but a term of praise, meaning "to awaken, to know."
"One" who has been released from the state of being reincarnated, crossing beyond the 6 paths will experience a state of being immortal and achieved an infinite enlightenment, called "Buddha".
"A living being" who is released from the state of reincarnated is no more considered a "creature".
