Filtration and lots of it. Clean the filter!

Alume will work to coagulate (Clump together) small particles to make them larger so the filter could trap them. Alume is alluminum sulfate.

No chemical can dissolve any rock, and those that can dissolve some rocks don't do so "instantly."

If you want a chemical that can dissolve, say, limestone, you could probably do worse than muriatic (hydrochloric) acid.
