Audio aids, as the words indicate, are things that you can listen to or hear (sound) that help (or aid) you in learning. For example, if you are studying a language, listening to a song in that language is an audio (or sound) aiding/helping you.

In classrooms, teachers use things that produce sounds, music, songs, conversations, documentaries, etc. to make learning easier.

Furthermore, an audio aid (hearing aid) can also be a device that helps you hear better. In other words, the device aids your auditory system (your sense of sound) receive the sound.
