as far as i know, the f100 is not made in the usa and the f150 is made in the usa.for example in Australia it is f100, there is no such thing as f150 over there

75 through 83?? or so the f100 and f150 were both available and made in USA. The difference was mostly in the rear suspension. The F150 was sprung for a heavier payload. The F150 idea was originally used to bump the 1/2 ton truck up in GVWR enough to exempt it from Catalytic Converter requirements in '75.
