What is the Hawaiian word for Native Hawaiian?

Answer:
Kama'aina
simply refers to someone whom has live in Hawaii for a long time and made it their home. Kanaka Maoli however refers to the people indigenous to the Hawaiian islands and their descendants more readily identifiable as Native Hawaiians. This moniker has gained some recognition through Hawaiian Sovereignty movements but is little used outside the islands.
