The House of Tudor is the "family name" of the English Tudor monarchs who reigned in England between 1485 and 1603. The name is the English version of the surname of Welshman Henry Tudwr who gained the English throne after defeating Richard Plantagenet (Richard III) at the Battle of Bosworth.

They were:

King Henry VII - reigned 24th August 1485 to 21st April 1509

King Henry VIII - son of Henry VII - regned 21st April 1509 to 28th January 1547

King Edward VI - son of Henry VIII - reigned 28th January 1547 to 6th July 1553
