What is the Islamic belief in hygiene and dress?

Answer:
In Islamic faith, hygiene (or cleanliness) is considered part of faith according to prophet Muhammad (peace upon him) sayings.

Regarding Muslim dress:
  • For men dress, the clothing should cover at least from naval to knees and not being from silk.
  • For woman dress, the clothing should cover the whole body (including head, hair, and neck) but covering face or hands. Her cloth should be neither tight (describing her body figure) not transparent (displaying what is underneath).
