The world's largest yellowfin tuna, breaking the previous record by 22 pounds, will escape recognition officials say because of a technicality on who touched who's pole.The rod that reeled in the 427.9-pound fish last Thursday off the coast of Purto Vallarta, Mexico was assisted by a deckhand the crew admitted, breaking the rules set by the International Game Fish Association for an unassisted catch.Because of that technicality, the beast wrestled from the water for a half an hour by Robert Pedigo, though with the help of a local captain working as a deckhand, will go unrecognized in the books.
