Probably the numerous incarnations of ( A Christmas Carol) better known for its lead character- One Ebenezer Scrooge. Stretching things one could call- It"s a Wonderful Life a Scrooge derivative- though the footing is different- lead character, a Banker- contemplating suicide, is dissuaded by three angels- not called Ghosts.

∙ 15y agoArguably any of the manifold variations of ( Scrooge) or ( a Christmas Carol) it should be noted with some modernizations and changes in the plot- the angle of attack from conviction of past sins ( Scrooge) to being talked out of Suicide ( Wonderful Life) the film ( It"s a Wonderful Life) can be considered a second-string derivative of Scrooge.
