What is the WikiAnswers AnswerThon?

Several times throughout the year, WikiAnswers challenge users to an AnswerThon - an organized event designed to foster the sharing of knowledge. During the AnswerThon, participants will answer as many questions as they can over 48 hours with the hopes of spreading knowledge and winning prizes. The last such event took place from April 25th - 26th, 2009.
