Announcing the WikiAnswers Teen/Youth InitiativeWikiAnswers recognizes our youth as valuable members of our site! Because of that, we are making plans for a youth group on WikiAnswers! All comments and suggestions are appreciated! The group needs a name so please read on. Submitting Names Resumes for the Name the Youth/Teen Group Contest! Details:Submitting names is open to everyone of every age! Voting is open only to those 18 years of age and younger. Prizes will be given for the 3 names that receive the most votes. The top name will become the group's name! We encourage you to submit any name that you think will be a good one, but we're encouraging the submission of acronyms! Here are a couple of examples: WHAT - which stands for WikiAnswers Honors All Teens WHY - which stands for WikiAnswers Honors Youth For those of you who have already submitted names, they will be listed along with the ones that are submitted now. The person who submits the name will receive credit for that name! Contest Dates: Name submission - Starts immediately. Ends at 12:00 noon EST on Wednesday, Aug. 6th. Post your names on Marcy or Deb's message board or email them to Marcy @ wikianswers.com (no spaces). Voting - Starts at 2:00 EST on Wednesday, Aug 6th and ends on Friday, Aug. 8th at 2:00 pm EST Name and 2 runners-up will be announced by 4:00 EST on Friday, August 8th. Prizes will be given for the winning name and 2 runners-up.
