They are able to do this because they have learn't the trick to solve it. They have hardcoded the algorithms in their brains. Anyone can solve a rubik's cube just by memorizing the algorithms and learning the technique to solve it.

Solving a Rubriks Cube is not a measure of intelligence since some of the smartest people on this planet can't/couldn't solve one. I am not defending the Jonas Brothers but I do think that they could if they knew how the logic of a Rubriks cuve works.
Well basically you have to solve the first layer of the cube. Because if you do that all of the corners and middle pieces are in the right place and are aligned with the centre pieces. And that way, you will get the T but the rest of the cube will be unsolved. The best way to answer this is go on youtube and type in how to solve a rubiks cube. click the first one. there is a couple parts but its worth it. You'll learn how to solve it in no time!
a mirror cube, the mirror cubes work the same as a rubik's cube, but takes more knowledge of the cube since you can't orient by just looking at the colours
