Fungal Fighting Diet
Eliminating fungus from the diet and decreasing the food sources for fungal growth and replication may assist in the recovery from fungal illness. This approach to treatment for health enhancement can be difficult at first. The results experienced are frequently well worth the effort. In conjunction with medication or herbals to reduce fungal load the results of this approach can be dramatic. Much of this diet can be found in Doug Kaufmann's book, The Fungal Link.
Rigid control of fungal accomplices needs to be established at first. After a few weeks this control can be relaxed and modified according to response of the gut and overall system. Adding some basic nutrients and supplements can also be of great benefit. I like using Magnesium Malate at a dose of 2-3 grams at bedtime or throughout the day. Psyllium seed husks are helpful to keep the bowel moving as well. I recommend balancing the fungal "die-off" reaction with increasing good water intake from 2-6 liters per day (1/2 to 1½ gallons).
