What is the average height for a 14-year-old?

The answer can vary greatly depending on gender and nationality, girls at the age of 14 have practically stopped growing, whereas boys of this age will have probably only started their growth spurt in the last year or so, and will continue to grow until around the age of 18.

The highest average height for women of varying ages, but usually over 17, seems to be 5'6", whereas for men (again with the same variables) it is just over 6'.
