Pot bellied pigs generally live to be anywhere from 15-25 years old. On some occasions, they can live to be as old as 30. However, this depends on the health of the animal and also my vary genetically. For a healthy pig, it is the responsibility of the owner to make sure the animal has the right nutrition and medical care to live a long and comfortable life.

Hi, My pot belly pig is 22 years old - I just looked on the internet to determine life expentancy because I do believe it is dying - very sad - My pig looks ancient. Its hair is extremely long but sparce. - it is having a very hard time walking, but does - I have noticed a change in its appearance over the past month. It has had a great life, however. Thought I would add this in case someone else was in the same situation.

Nobody is sure exactly but some say 12-20 years and others say 10-15 years. the smallest breed of pig(forgot what they are called), only live for five years because their organs grow but their body stays small and can't keep up. The oldest living pot belly pig I've seen was about 16 years old

What is a potbellied pigs diet?

Potbellied pigs will generally eat anything. The danger in this is that they can become obese and unhealthy. A potbellied pigs diet should mainly consist of foods high in fiber. There are feeds made especially for potbellied pigs that will contain the amount of fiber needed. Some brands are Heartland and and Peak Performance. The amount of feed depends on the weight of the potbellied pig. The general rule is about 1/2 cup of maintenance food per 25 pounds of the pigs weight. This total amount should then be divided into two feedings a day. Potbellied pigs can also be fed vegetables to expand diet options for the pig. Fruit can also be fed to the pig but in small amounts because of the higher amount of natural sugars. Another very important part of a pigs diet is water. Water should always be available for the potbellied pig to drink.

They live for about 10 to 15 years. I know that regular pigs do but i don't know if pork pigs live for that long too. That's just my guess since all the regular pigs live for 10 to 15 years. -rey646-
