It totally depends on what you plan to eat, where you live and where you shop. If you shop at a discount store- watch for sales and cook meals ahead and eat left overs, you could get away with as little as 40 dollars a week.
Now, I know that you said ONE person, me and my boyfriend are TWO- we eat out quite a bit and cook other nights and we spend about 500 a month. That's about 125 a week- or 60 bucks a person. Big difference.
