Like a RADIOLOGIST that performs X-RAYS. The pay earned varies greatly; it depends on how big the hospital is, what part of the country the hospital is in, and other variables. Contact a local hospital where you live and ask how much the starting wage is for a technician. Starting pay is lower than the pay of someone employed in that field, in that hospital for many years.
