It depends on where you live and the size of your home and lot. Also areas with warmer weather like New Mexico and Arizona will have higher water use. You'd be surprised how much money goes out the window in unnecessary utility costs; including water.

I live in Michigan (Midwest) and at it's peak (during the summer) runs approx $100 monthly. Other times of the year its less than half of that.
