Miniature Dachshunds can weigh anywhere from to 6 to 10 pounds. Most of it depends on what kind of dog food you feed it. Never let your dachshund get overweight. It will hurt their backs and lead to other health problems in the future. If it gets overweight, feed it less. Dachshunds only need about 1/4 to 1/2 a cup during meal time. A puppy only needs 1/4 a cup a day. Dachshunds are very active dogs. In order for them to stay active, they need to be able to move around as they choose. the recommended food from my vet is Science Diet. It keeps the dog in shape AND it tastes good!! (i tried it myself. it wasn't too bad.) Please keep your little buddy in shape!
11 pounds or less. If it is above 11 pounds it is called a "tweenie." However, if it is 16-32 pounds, it is not a mini, but a standard.
Weight in dogs all depends on the size of the parents. I would say in between 5-8 pounds.
Miniature Male Dachshunds ideally weigh 13-16 pounds
For minis its about 9-11 pounds and for standards it is about 15 pounds.
I just took my mini to the vet today, and he is only at 3 months, but is 6.4 lbs. Not sure if it's helpful but it's a start!
11 pounds or less. A standard is 16-32 pounds and anything in between is called a "tweenie."
20 pounds if it weighs less take it to the hospital immediately
A mini will weigh about 7-8 oz :)
A female miniature Dachshund should weight between five and nine pounds when they are one year old. As an adult she should weight about 12 pounds.
Depends if it is a Mini dachshund or Standard...In a standarn the wight should be Under 20lbs in a min sheould be 15 or so
Well a healthy beagle is about 30lbs at adulthood and a dachshund as an adult usually weighs anywhere from 6-10lbs. So I would guess about 12-20 lbs.
It lives for 9999999999.9 years
If you mean dachshund : Average Life Span: 15 years
10-16 years.
I am a new breeder and i am just starting out and most all of the research that i have done says that average for a mini dachshund is 4 and for an average is 6. But there is no way other than having a vet do an ultrasound until she has them. Hope this was helpful.
The dachshund is a breaded dog that is particularly small and has short legs. If it becomes to over weight it will not be able to walk cuz the weight of the dog has built up and is sagging on the ground. I have a dachshund myself and u have to make sure to not feed it a lot. Hope that Helped! -:D
55-65cm or 22-16in is the general average of a Shepherd. Of course, this varies and other types such as the King Shepherd is considerably more.
it was Dutch the dachshund.
It ranges from dachshund to Dachshund depends if the dachshund is Regular or mini and such...
